Craig Ahlgrim (Tenor) - Craig has Barbershop in his blood, for which he is currently on medication. Being a third generation barbershopper, he has been involved in the hobby all his life and has loved every second!
Craig is the Assistant Director for The West Towns Chorus, where he sings along side his dad, Jim, and he is the Director for The Aurora Lamplighters as well. His quartet activity over the years includes Scrambled Craigs and Jukebox (with Dad), which placed in the Top 10 at the Illinois District Contests. He also achieved Championship status in 2006 with Stolen Basses. Then there's the mixed quartet he sings in with sister Wendy, a champion themselves who have secured a spot every year in the West Towns Christmas Spectacular.
As a third generation barbershopper, Craig is doing his best to add to that. He and his wife, Cindy, recently became parents to Bennett, a boy that is sure to have the lungs to be singing all night long. The three of them (four counting the dog) make their home in Westmont, IL.
Craig is happy to be a member of Off The Record, primarily because he can stand next to another bald guy. He was recently overheard explaining why he was late to a performance by saying, "I spent an hour on my hair. Then forgot to bring it."

Tim Pashon (Lead) - Tim has been singing for as long as he can remember, beginning in church, then in high school, and then all through college. He joined the Rock River Valley chorus after college and has been a member with that group ever since. During his time as member of the chorus, Tim has held many positions, including section leader, board member, show chairman, director, and many others. He has also directed a Sweet Adeline chorus, coached many quartets and choruses in the Midwest, and has served as Secretary on the IL District Board.
Quartetting has been the favorite part of the hobby for Tim. Before teaming up with Off The Record, he sang baritone with Grand Slam and By Popular Demand, 1999 IL District Champs, and lead with Pinnacle, Sequel and Cohorts. There have also been numerous chapter quartets and pick up quartets over the years. A thrill for Tim has been the opportunity to sing in quartets representing the IL District on the International Contest stage on several occasions.
Tim resides in Sterling, IL, with his wonderful wife, Nan, and their three daughters (God help him!). As a way to pay the bills, he is a Computer Programmer/Analyst for Raynor in Dixon, IL. He also finds time to be the photographer for the local high school, play golf, and root on the St. Louis Cardinals.

Don Deegan (Bari) - Don has been in and out of barbershop for thirty-some years, although he hates to admit it. His barbershop days began when his dad, Jim, brought him around to the Southwest Suburban Chapter in Oak Lawn, IL where he learned to sing - and later teach - tags from one of the old masters of woodshedding, Jack Baird. His first quartet experience was singing with Scott in the quartet in Bye Bye Birdie as a high school freshmen. Don was the bass - Scott was the tenor. Thanks to puberty and the passage of time, the world is safe from hearing that combination again. Don enjoyed singing with The Champaign-Urbana chapter during college, and later earned International gold medals with both the West Towns and New Tradition choruses. He sang baritone with several quartets and lead with Debut, 1989 Illinois District Champs and International Semi-Finalist. After forming Off The Record, he won the coin flip against Tim and won the right to sing bari.
Don lives in Glen Ellyn, IL with Ann, his wife of 22 years, and two teenage sons. He is Vice President – Controller with True Value Company. If you need advice on tools or hardware supplies… forget it… he can count them but has no idea how to use them. Ask him to teach you a tag instead.

Scott Diehl (Bass) - Scott has been singing barbershop for over 30 years. Our bari, Don, got him hooked in high school and even sponsored him into the Society. Just as a note, the Society has not allowed Deegan to sponsor a member since. Scott is about as close to a second generation barbershopper as you can get: he claims Master Woodshedder Jack Baird as a shirt-tail relative (though Baird has long since tried to dispose of that shirt), and his father-in-law sings with the Rock River Valley chorus.
In addition to singing with the Southwest Suburban Chapter, Scott has also earned multiple silver medals with both the West Towns and New Tradition choruses. He thinks it's interesting that the years he sat out, both choruses won the Gold - the rest of the quartet thinks it makes a lot of sense. While Scott has been singing for over three decades, he truly approaches each new song, rehearsal and performance as if it's his first time. Just ask the other guys – they'll confirm that! A lifelong bass (except for that whole high school thing), Scott has sung with several quartets. He's proud to have sung with Debut, 1989 Illinois District Champs and International Semi-finalist.
Scott lives in Aurora, IL with his wife Lori, and their three young daughters. Scott admits to being nervous about raising three girls, especially when he sees what it's done to Tim's hairline. To pay for the 3 upcoming weddings, he is the Director of Business Development for Adayana.
