Off The Record began singing together in the Spring of 2007.  After a few rehearsals, we knew we weren't ready for the upcoming Illinois District Prelims, so we asked if we could be the mic testers of the Friday night session.  The crowd seemed to like us so we kept rehearsing and learned a repertoire that is sure to entertain.

At the Illinois District Fall Convention in 2007, Off The Record finished in the top 5.  Then, in 2008, at the International Prelims, only 3 points kept the foursome from representing the Illinois District at the International Convention.  We were elated with our finish in that contest and received a ton of support and encouragement from the district.  That made us hungry to improve and the summer has kept us working hard and learning new material.
